‘TAINTED LOVE’ is a graphic zine based off a song by Soft Cell of the same name. The story surrounds the heartbreak one feels after a breakup. Enter Tom's world, where you'll find the happenings of mundane everyday life turn upside down the moment a needle is set on a groove of a vinyl record.
Here, the emotions of losing someone you love is articulated through a story set to a song which is a way for me to express without necessarily using words. In a way, it validates the inexplicable heartbreak we all feel.
